How to Prepare Sarang Semut (Myrmecodia)

Sarang semut (Mrymecodia) is a herbal from Papua. It’s rarely found in other areas. It’s called sarang semut, which in English means anthill because it has the similar shape with anthill. Sarang semut contains high flavonoid that works as antioxidant in human body, so it’s very good to prevent cancer. It also contains tannins, astringent that binds and precipitates excessive protein in body.

Besides that, there are polyphenols, which are phenolic acids and flavonoid, tocopherol (vitamin E) around 313 ppm, alpha-tocopherol, magnesium, calcium and phosphorus.

It is believed that Sarang Semut is effective to treat cancer and lung diseases, stroke, rheumatic, uric acid, asthma, asphyxiate, cough, TBC, breast cancer, goiter, kidney problem, appendix, hernia, diabetes, menstrual pains, and to improve sexual performance.

How to Prepare Sarang Semut

Take 200 gram Myrmecodia, and boil it with 3 liters of water until it boils. Refine the water. Drink it regularly for a month. For dried myrmecodia, cut into small pieces and put them to food processor until it becomes powder and save it in clean container.

How to drink it

1. To prevent diseases, drink 3 glasses per day.

2. To heal diseases, 3-8 glasses per day.

When you consume sarang semut, you should drink a lot of mineral water and eat nutritious foods to help improve other body functions and to remove toxins.

Dosage for children under 10 years is a half of dosage for adults.

1. To cure diseases: drink 2-3 glasses per day.

2. To prevent diseases: drink 1-2 glasses per day.
